Arsenal FC 26/27 away shirt

Arsenal’s away kit for the 26/27 season goes for a deep navy with a tone-on-tone geometric graphic, with repeated triangular shapes that add texture to the fabric without stealing the show. The collar is a V-neck in red with a yellow trim that runs along the three stripes on the shoulders and appears again on the cuffs, combining red and yellow. The cannon crest and the chest sponsor are finished in gold, a contrast that nods to the club’s classic colours on an unusual base.

The Gunners were born in Woolwich, in south-east London, before settling in the north of the capital, first at Highbury and now at the Emirates Stadium. The cannon on the chest recalls their origins among workers at an armaments factory. With multiple English league titles and FA Cups to their name, and the North London derby against Tottenham as a fixture marked in every diary, they are one of the giants of the Premier League.

How to measure

The most reliable way is to measure a shirt you already own that fits you well. Lay it flat without stretching it:

• Chest: measure from armpit to armpit and multiply by two. Compare the result with the “Chest” column.
• Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
• Kids: go by height; age is only a guide.
• Trainers: stand with your heel against a wall on a sheet of paper, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance in centimetres.
