Atlético de Madrid 26/27 away kit shirt

The Atlético de Madrid away kit for the 26/27 season goes for a deep black worked with a geometric relief of triangles that plays with the light depending on the angle. The contrast comes in lime green: the red-and-white crest outlined in that shade, the brand logo on the chest, the main sponsor centred and the sleeve trims, plus a side stripe running down the flank. The collar is round, close-fitting and finished in the same green, with the word “Ateli” printed inside the back of the neck.

Atleti was founded in 1903 and its home is the Metropolitano, in the east of Madrid. The Colchoneros to their supporters, with the red-and-white stripes and blue shorts as their mark, have won league titles, Copas del Rey, Europa Leagues and a Cup Winners’ Cup, and live every capital derby like a final. Their identity is summed up in “Nunca dejes de creer”.

How to measure

The most reliable way is to measure a shirt you already own that fits you well. Lay it flat without stretching it:

• Chest: measure from armpit to armpit and multiply by two. Compare the result with the “Chest” column.
• Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
• Kids: go by height; age is only a guide.
• Trainers: stand with your heel against a wall on a sheet of paper, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance in centimetres.
