Borussia Mönchengladbach 26/27 third shirt

Borussia Mönchengladbach’s third kit for the 26/27 season goes for an intense turquoise with a marbled finish that gains depth as the light catches it. The collar is round, in a darker green that also appears on the shoulders and sleeves, creating a subtle contrast. The club crest, in its classic black and white diamond, sits on the right of the chest, while the main sponsor takes the centre in lime green.

The Mönchengladbach side, from the city in North Rhine-Westphalia, is known as the Foals for the daring football that shaped its legend in the seventies, when it strung together Bundesliga titles and won the UEFA Cup. The Borussia-Park is its home, and its rivalry with Cologne keeps alive one of the most deeply felt tensions in western Germany.

How to measure

The most reliable way is to measure a shirt you already own that fits you well. Lay it flat without stretching it:

• Chest: measure from armpit to armpit and multiply by two. Compare the result with the “Chest” column.
• Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
• Kids: go by height; age is only a guide.
• Trainers: stand with your heel against a wall on a sheet of paper, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance in centimetres.
