England 26/27 away shirt

England’s away kit for the 26/27 season goes for an intense red with a tone-on-tone print that covers the whole front and the sleeves: lions, stars and the letters “ENG” repeated in different sizes and typefaces. The collar is round in navy, with an inner trim bearing the words “Happy and Glorious”, and the cuffs repeat that blue with a thin white stripe. On the chest, the Three Lions crest on a white background, topped by a gold star, and beside it the brand logo in blue.

England, the cradle of modern football, play at Wembley and carry a history that begins in the 19th century. Red is a colour closely tied to its memory, and its clashes with Scotland, Germany or Argentina are part of the fan’s imagination.

How to measure

The most reliable way is to measure a shirt you already own that fits you well. Lay it flat without stretching it:

• Chest: measure from armpit to armpit and multiply by two. Compare the result with the “Chest” column.
• Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
• Kids: go by height; age is only a guide.
• Trainers: stand with your heel against a wall on a sheet of paper, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance in centimetres.
