Nigeria 26/27 training shirt

Nigeria’s 26/27 pre-match shirt recovers the boldest spirit of the Super Eagles with a gradient that starts in black and white across the chest and shoulders and fades into an intense green towards the bottom. The whole fabric is covered by a print of irregular vertical strokes, almost like plumage, that adds depth to the whole. The round neck is black, matching the sleeve trims, and the word “NAIJA” stands out on the front in large letters with a silver raised finish. The federation crest is embroidered on the right of the chest.

Nigeria is one of the great powers of African football: continental champions several times, Olympic gold medallists at Atlanta 1996 and a national team that left its mark on the World Cups of the nineties. The green and white of their flag, together with the eagle of their emblem, form a visual identity recognised the world over, and their kits have become a cult item among fans of football design.

You can choose between the Fan version, roomier and comfortable for everyday wear, and the Player version, with a fitted cut and technical fabric. How to measure

The most reliable way is to measure a shirt you already own that fits you well. Lay it flat without stretching it:

• Chest: measure from armpit to armpit and multiply by two. Compare the result with the “Chest” column.
• Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
• Kids: go by height; age is only a guide.
• Trainers: stand with your heel against a wall on a sheet of paper, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance in centimetres.
