Turkey 26/27 away shirt

Turkey’s away kit for the 26/27 season goes for a luminous white crossed by a wide red band across the chest, with a brushstroke graphic treatment that gives it texture and movement. The collar is round and white, with a small red detail at the shoulders, and the sleeves feature red reinforcements along the sides that extend down towards the flank. In the centre of the chest sits the national flag with the crescent and star inside a red box, and just below it the brand logo in the same tone.

Turkey are known as the Ay-Yıldızlılar, the ones of the crescent and star, and their white and red refer directly to the country’s flag. Usually based in Istanbul, the national team carries a loud and passionate fanbase, capable of turning any match into a cauldron, and its great collective memory is its third place at the 2002 World Cup.

How to measure

The most reliable way is to measure a shirt you already own that fits you well. Lay it flat without stretching it:

• Chest: measure from armpit to armpit and multiply by two. Compare the result with the “Chest” column.
• Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
• Kids: go by height; age is only a guide.
• Trainers: stand with your heel against a wall on a sheet of paper, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance in centimetres.
