Union Berlin 26/27 away shirt

Union Berlin’s away kit for the 26/27 season goes for a very dark anthracite grey run through with fine vertical stripes that can only be seen up close, giving depth to the fabric. The collar is a V-neck with black and red trim, a colour pairing repeated on the cuffs and in the three stripes running down the shoulders. The club crest appears in white on the right chest, with the brand emblem on the left and the sponsor centred in large white lettering.

FC Union Berlin is the club of the Köpenick district, in the south-east of the German capital, and plays at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei, one of the most distinctive grounds in European football thanks to its standing-terrace atmosphere. Known as “Eisern Union” (Iron Union), it boasts a fanbase devoted to its team and a historic rivalry with Hertha in the Berlin derby.

How to measure

The most reliable way is to measure a shirt you already own that fits you well. Lay it flat without stretching it:

• Chest: measure from armpit to armpit and multiply by two. Compare the result with the “Chest” column.
• Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
• Kids: go by height; age is only a guide.
• Trainers: stand with your heel against a wall on a sheet of paper, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance in centimetres.
