Club América 26/27 retro shirt

The Club América 26/27 retro shirt goes for a deep navy blue that dominates the whole body, in a fine-textured fabric that shows in the relief of the body and sleeves. The upper part carries a nod to the nineties: a pattern of diamonds and triangles in yellow and red that runs across the shoulders and chest with a faded, almost pixelated finish. The collar is a high polo style, in navy blue with yellow and red trim, and the embroidered crest with the classic “CA” monogram over the American continent sits on the right chest.

Las Águilas are the most decorated club in Mexico and the great protagonist of the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. Their yellow and blue colours and their eternal duel with Chivas de Guadalajara, the Clásico Nacional, define an identity that is reinterpreted here in a dark, retro key.

How to measure

The most reliable way is to measure a shirt you already own that fits you well. Lay it flat without stretching it:

• Chest: measure from armpit to armpit and multiply by two. Compare the result with the “Chest” column.
• Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
• Kids: go by height; age is only a guide.
• Trainers: stand with your heel against a wall on a sheet of paper, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance in centimetres.
