EC Bahia 26/27 training shirt

The EC Bahia training shirt for the 26/27 season opts for an intense red from top to bottom, with a graphic of dots and textures in a slightly darker tone covering the chest, the centre of the body and the sleeve trims. The collar is round, in the same red as the rest of the kit, and on the left chest sits the club’s embroidered crest with its two golden stars, the only touch of colour that breaks the monochrome.

Esporte Clube Bahia, founded in 1931 in Salvador, is one of the great institutions of north-eastern Brazil. Known as the Tricolor de Aço, it traditionally wears blue, red and white, plays at the Arena Fonte Nova and carries a historic rivalry with Vitória in the Ba-Vi, one of the hottest derbies in Brazil. Its honours include national titles that place it among the pioneering clubs of Brazilian football.

How to measure

The most reliable way is to measure a shirt you already own that fits you well. Lay it flat without stretching it:

• Chest: measure from armpit to armpit and multiply by two. Compare the result with the “Chest” column.
• Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
• Kids: go by height; age is only a guide.
• Trainers: stand with your heel against a wall on a sheet of paper, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance in centimetres.
