France 26/27 home long sleeve shirt

France’s home kit for the 26/27 season in its long sleeve version goes for the traditional blue, here worked in two tones: a deep navy background over which a pattern of diagonal lines in electric blue unfolds, drawing irregular stripes across the front and sleeves. The collar is a white polo style, with a short opening and red inner trim, a nod to the tricolour. The crest of the cockerel with the two stars and the letters FFF is embroidered in gold, as is the brand logo on the opposite side of the chest.

Les Bleus are one of the great powers of world football, with two World Cups and several European Championships to their name and the Stade de France in Saint-Denis as their home. The blue, white and red of the flag accompany a national team that has made the Gallic cockerel its emblem for more than a century.

How to measure

The most reliable way is to measure a shirt you already own that fits you well. Lay it flat without stretching it:

• Chest: measure from armpit to armpit and multiply by two. Compare the result with the “Chest” column.
• Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
• Kids: go by height; age is only a guide.
• Trainers: stand with your heel against a wall on a sheet of paper, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance in centimetres.
