River Plate 26/27 training shirt

River Plate’s pre-match shirt for the 26/27 season goes for a range of greys and blacks that breaks with the club’s classic white and red. The body is covered entirely with the word “RIVER” repeated in a large typographic pattern, in different shades of grey, while the sleeves and shoulders darken to an almost solid black. The collar is round in black, and on the chest the embroidered crest stands out with the red band on a white background, next to the brand logo in white.

River Plate, “el Millonario”, was born in the south of Buenos Aires and today has its home at the Monumental in Núñez, one of the most imposing stadiums in South America. Its red diagonal band is one of the most recognisable identity marks in world football, and its rivalry with Boca Juniors in the Superclásico sets the pulse of Argentine football, with multiple league and Libertadores titles in its history.

Offered in Fan and Player versions, to be chosen when adding it to the basket, with the option to customise it with your name and number or with those of a squad player, and to add the competition patch. Sizes available from S to XXL, with home delivery and order tracking.

Approximate measurements: they may vary by ±2 cm depending on the model. If you’re between two sizes, choose the larger one.

How to measure

The most reliable way is to measure a shirt you already own that fits you well. Lay it flat without stretching it:

• Chest: measure from armpit to armpit and multiply by two. Compare the result with the “Chest” column.
• Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
• Kids: go by height; age is only a guide.
• Trainers: stand with your heel against a wall on a sheet of paper, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance in centimetres.
